So I realized something a little scary today as I was sitting in my Digital Business Applications class, absolutely bored to death. I realized I am obsessed with horses...
Yes, my class was so boring I was analyzing my life and my obsessions. The teacher was gone on a sick day or something and the substitute wasn't really paying attention to what we were doing so I was scrolling through the internet pretending to do my assignment. At first I Googled pictures of horses in general. Once I scrolled to the bottom of the page (it didn't take very long to get there considering the massive amount of blocked pictures thanks to our school's internet filter. I mean its pictures of horses not... well, you get the idea.) After Googling horses, I Googled Gypsy Vanner horses, then Arabians, then Paints, and then I realized I may have a slight problem.
I realized I am 17 years old, a senior in high school, and absolutely obsessed with the equine world. While most other girls my age are on Pinterest looking at makeup tips and clothing styles I am looking at photos of horses, paintings of horses, photos of paintings on horses, horses running, horses in the snow, horses racing, horses jumping, dressage horses, race horses, big horses, and small horses. Whenever we are allowed to write papers or create presentations in school on whatever we want I always end up focusing on horses and it seems that the time limit given to us is never enough.
What do you mean I only have six pages to talk about horses? Only five minute presentation?! That is nowhere near long enough to say all I want to!
It usually ends with lots of stress on my part and not a whole lot getting done on the project. Either that, or I get distracted researching horses. Usually in the end it is a lot of cramming and a lot of stress.
I am hoping that this will be a good place to vent all of my horse related struggles and all the other random stuff that happens in my life. I hope you enjoy.
